Coleman Exponent Headlamps

New for 2007 by Coleman will be two headlamps the 3AAA (ontop) and the 4AA. They both features two white, ultra-bright LEDs for diffused light and three white LEDs for a wider path of light. Other features include red light for night use and a strobe mode for emergency. They are both fitted with three strap on headbands for greater comfort. The 3AAA has a bright .5-watt white LUXEON LED and the 4AA has a 1-watt white LUXEON LED.
It will defenitely be interesting to see the statistics and price on these headlamps. It looks like Coleman is taking the step to bringing the company into the modern era of camping. Backpacking is a high end niche that could use some friendly competition.
