
Petzl is recalling all Sarken crampons, customer experience has shown that the front points of Sarken crampons are susceptible to premature wearout following heavy use. If you own a pair of Sarken crampons you should stop using them and contact your Petzl distributor.

Austrian company Stubai, has an intresseting looking carabiner, the HMS 3D. As you can see the carabiner is twisted, making the gate “swing” away from the carabiner while clipping, clearing equipment previously clipped to the carabiner.
