Essential Gear K2 LED headlamp

The new K2 LED headlamp, from Essential Gear, features red, green and blue nightvision LEDs and a white main bulb. The main bulb produces a brightness of 85 lumens and has three settings, high, low and flashing. The bulbs can be controlled independently via a “smart switch” an the headlamp has simple all in one slider to control the focus.

In the back of the headlamp there is a red safety light LED with constant or flashing light.

Coleman Exponent Mini Headlamp

The market for mini headlamps is getting crowded, Coleman will be releasing their Exponent Mini Headlamp, early 2008. It weighs 1.4 ounces and has three different modes High, Low and Emergency(I’m guessing that means blinking). The batteries will last 7 hours on low and 2 hours on high.

Black Diamond Cosmo Headlamp 2008

Black Diamonds Cosmo headlamp will get an update for 2008. Externally it will be the same, but on the inside it will be updated with one ½ Watt LED and two SuperBright LEDs. The range of the headlamp will be 38 meter and the weight will be 80 gram.
