New for 2007 by Coleman will be two headlamps the 3AAA (ontop) and the 4AA. They both features two white, ultra-bright LEDs for diffused light and three white LEDs for a wider path of light. Other features include red light for night use and a strobe mode for emergency. They are both fitted with three strap on headbands for greater comfort. The 3AAA has a bright .5-watt white LUXEON LED and the 4AA has a 1-watt white LUXEON LED.

Simular to Guyot Designs Firefly this is a waterbottle with a built in LED in the lid, making the bottle double as a lantern. What separates the LightCap from the Firefly is that it is solarpowered, removing the need to carry spare batteries. It only weights 11 oz and has a 32 oz capacity.

Glo-Toob FX is a light beacon, for you who has the need to be visible. It weights only 34 grams and features several different flashing modes ranging from constant light to strob. Depending on the flashing mode used it has a burn time of 30 to 80 hours. It also features an SOS mode, where it flashes an SOS signal.

This is a true outdoor gadget, a cool looking knife combined with a system for adding different interchangable tools. Available tools are Magnetic LED flashlight, Flashlight/Firesteel, Flashlight/Diamond Steel, Flashlight/Handcuff key and Flashlight/GlockTool. I really don’t know when I would use the GlockTool, the last time I fired a Glock was in the army, but on the other hand, I don’t live in USA.

Just reported abort a MagLite LED conversion kid, but apparently MagLite has released an official LED version too. I havn’t found any photos of it yet though, but according to the Swedish importer it in stores.

Nite Ize is selling an LED upgrade kit for you Mini MagLite. It features three bright LEDs instead of the usual lightbulb and a pushbutton switch. Nite Ize claims it will give up to four times longer battery life.
