Sierra Designs new Tengu tent is a three season tent featuring an “external pitch”, making it great in rainy conditions. Personally I would like to see more tent producers going in this direction. I would like to see a 2 person tent with 2 doors resonable vestible area with “extranal pitch” and a weight around 4 lbs 5 oz (2000 grams). Anyway the Tengu comes in a 2- and 3-person edition.

Magellan has released 3 new GPS devices, two of them, the 2200T and 2500T, are what Magellan calls CrossoverGPS’s. What it means is that they are designed to work both for navigating the street and the outdoors. They feature both roadmaps and light topographic maps as standard and details regional maps can be added via SD card.
They both features SmartDetour (to route you around slow freeway traffic) and SayWhere (text-to-speech), waterproffing to IPX-4 and the 2500T also features real-time traffic update and music player.

Sierra Designs has presented the new Asp, a lightweight tent that comes in 2 and 3 persons versions. Both versions features large vestibule and dual entries.

Glo-Toob FX is a light beacon, for you who has the need to be visible. It weights only 34 grams and features several different flashing modes ranging from constant light to strob. Depending on the flashing mode used it has a burn time of 30 to 80 hours. It also features an SOS mode, where it flashes an SOS signal.

Optic Nerve has presented five new stylish shades for the 2007 season. First up is the Exxo a classy, casual sports silhouette. Without frames it a stylish light weight frame with polarized polycarbonate lenses.
Second up is the Crenshaw cool look street-sport shades with TORIC lens, that features shatter resistance protection.
Savant, is part of Optic Nerves interchangeable serie, it features Tactilite Rubber Bridge rests and temple tips for non-slip. The polycarbonate resin lenses are also vented.
Fusebox a stylish frame for women and/or people with smaller faces. It’s a high performance rimless silhouette frame that comes with a hard case and four sets of interchangeable lenses.
Last up, the Halogyn, an agressiv looking frame that weights only 17 grams, the Fusebox it comes with 4 sets of lenses and a hard case.
