Just noted that Big Agnes has release a few new tents for 2008. Copper Spur UL2 (above) and Copper Spur UL3 are the lightest backpacking tents made by Big Agnes so far. The Copper Spur UL2 weighs 3lb 6oz (1530 grams) and the Copper Spur UL3 weighs 4lb 3oz (1900 grams). It looks like it has an interesting design to keep the fly tensioned.

Pine Island 4 is a free standing three season camping or base camp tent with dual doors and vestibules. It weighs 8lb 11oz (3940 grams).

Mine Mountain is a new four season series that holds two new tents, Spring Ridge 2 (above) and Royal Flush 3 (below). The Spring Ridge 2 weighs 5lb (2270 grams) and the Royal Flush 3weighs 7lb 7oz (3375 grams). There is also a new bivy sack in water proof eVent fabric called Three Wire Bivy.

The Emerald Mountain SL2 tent from Big Agnes won a gold medal in the tents category in the 2007 China Outdoor Equipment Contest. The contest was held at the Asia Outdoor Trade Fair in Nanjing, China.

String Ridge 2 is a new tent from Big Agnes, it’s part of a new four season line of tents called Mine Mountain. The tent fits two persons and has dual entrances. It has a Condura fly and DAC Featherlite NSL poles

In the Mine Mountain line there will also be three man tent.
