Surfing the Haglöfs website I noticed that all tents had been removed, a quick mail to Haglöfs confirmed my suspicions, Haglöfs quits the tent making business. From the Spring/Summer 2008, tents will not be part of the Haglöfs product line, though some resellers might still have Haglöfs tents in stock. So if you are look to buy a Haglöfs tent hurry up..

Powder Poetry(below) and Snow Passion(above) are two new ski backpacks from Haglöfs. Powder Poetry is a 18 liter backpack. Snow Passion is a slightly small backpack holding 14 liters. Both backpacks comes in the same Black/Charcoal, Java/Soil and Papaya/Mango color schemes.

Haglöfs “Rand” backpack will be redesigned for winter 2008/2009. “Rand“ is ski backpack so it features mounting points for skis and snowboards. The backpack will come in two sizes, 38l and 48l (No trace of the 28l version that is available today). The 38l version will weigh 1850 grams and the 48l version 1950 grams, that means that they will have gained 1000 grams from todays versions. Hopefully it will be worth it.

Haglöfs has gone for a bold new “paint job” on the 2008 edition of the Ascent climbing backpack. The line now consists of three packs , 28L and 38L and the new 48L. Apart from the new color scheme the Ascent will have new pockets integrated into the hip-belt and redesigned ice-axe fasteners. The backpacks has become slightly heavier, the 28L will weigh 1600 gram, the 38L 1700 gram and the 48L 1800 gram.

The new version of Haglöfs LIM backpacks come in three different sizes 35L, 45L(above) and 55L(photo here). This means that the 25L version that is available today will be removed. The 35L backpack has lost 118 grams and now weighs 1000 grams, the 45L has lost 185 grams an now weighs 1035 grams and the new 55L weighs 1075 grams.

The backpacks are fitted with an 6005-T6 aluminium frame. The back-pad will feature air ventilated channels and the hip-belt will have pockets for easy access. The backpacks will have stretchy side pockets big enough for 1 liters bottles and there will be an expandable front pocket.

Swedish lightweight site Fjäderlätt has photos of a new backpack in Haglöfs LIM line. The new backpack holds 55 liter and it looks like the LIM line is about to get some new nice colors.

The Oxo is Haglöfs replacement for the old “Sec” backpack. The but I’m not sure if I like it, because it will be heavier than the Sec.
