
Haglöfs will be releasing a new backpack for 2007, called the Martix. It’s a slimline, lightweight, heavy duty pack made for longer hikes. As frame the Matrix will have a 6005-T6 aluminum framework and thermodynamically formed backplate. The pack will be available in four different sizes listed below.
Matrix 70:
- Volumes: 70 litres
- Weight: 1,950 gram
Matrix 60:
- Volumes: 60 litres
- Weight: 1,850 gram
Matrix 50:
- Volumes: 50 litres
- Weight: 1,750 gram
Matrix 40:
- Volumes: 40 litres
- Weight: 1,650 gram

The Drop is a new ski backpack that has very slim design. It has a large compartment for probe, spade etc and a smaller pocket designed for googles. The hipbelt is elastic and it has straps to attach skis. All zips are design to be easy handled when wearing gloves. Volume is about 14 liters and is also prepaired for a hydration system.

The Cruz is slightly larger than the Drop it carries 18 liters, features skis straps and a front pocket. As all the new packs it’s prepeared for a hydration system aswell.

Edge has a capacity of 24 liters and is designed with straps so that you can attach your skis both in a vertical and horizontal way. It also features and opening that allows you to open the pack without removing your skis of snowboard.

The series big brother, the Yak, has volume of 28 liters. It features a front pocket, two side pockets, hydration system in a seperate pocket and removable hipbelt.
