Variant is a new alpine backpack from Osprey that is winter focused. The pack has modular ice tool attachments, ski loops, crampon pouches and haul points. The backpack comes in three sizes 28.38 and 52, weighing 0.85, 0.90 and 0.99kg respectively.

Mutant 38 is a new climbing pack from Osprey, designed using feedback from european climbers. The new pack has a stowable hip-belt with racking system for quick and easy access to gear. It is a lightweight pack, weighing only 0.95kg.

The Aura is a new daypack for women based on the Atmos pack. The pack comes in two different sizes 35L and 50L. It has the same thermoformed shoulder pads and hip-belt as the Atmos.

The second new pack is the Talon 44, it’s a lightweight pack and Osprey claims it weights only to be 1.05 kilos. Even though it’s a real lightweight sac it holds quite a few features, backpanel ventilation, shoulder harness adjustment, hip-belt pockets, stretch front pocket, compression system and an alloy-tubed perimeter frame. The pack will be released later this year.
